A difficult mission
It was a difficult time for Ducky in Belgium. Although he was welcomed with the honors for a king, he was aware that hard times were ahead..
He had to fulfill the pipe-mandate which he received in Odense.
The mandate
To understand the relationship between the pipe and social life, he visited several pipe museums. The Indian peace pipe got his full attention and this motivated him to do the job right from the beginning.
He told his lovely wife: I am going for a pipe. It’s a tough decision, so I may be gone for a few weeks”
Although we know that he piped up at the European commission,where he was…. piped down.
His lovely partner had a lot of questions and …
she didn’t like the way the whole pipe hassle was handled
At the reunion their relation was still tense and she gave Wimpkje
only a 50% chance to join our club.
Luckely Wimpje made it at the end.
